My Most Favorite Christmas Ever!

This Christmas was my most favorite Christmas EVER!

Why? Because I took time to live in the moment!

Every other year I would be thinking about what I would
be doing the next day, next hour or next minute and not
enjoying the time I had with family and friends.

This year, I went back to Minnesota to visit my grandkids
early. My husband and I got a good price on airline tickets
earlier in the month and decided we would go back and
have Christmas early.

On Saturday, we took our three grandchildren with us
to a Christmas production called, "Christmas Celebration"
by Lowell Lundstrom's church in Burnsville, MN.
I highly recommend it!

My little grandson, Colby laughed so hard when one of the actors
was performing his "hat" production. He was taking
on the personality of the hat. He had the hat of an old
man. It's looked like an old fishing hat and old man would
wear. Anyway, he'd be carrying on a conversation
to the audience, with his cane in his hand and then
he'd stop and look around and say, "You kids
get out of here." And then he'd look back at
the audience and say, "I love kids". Colby
laughed so hard. He was still talking about it and
laughing days later.

Then, we headed to Walmart to take them to pick our
their Christmas gifts. We gave them a limit and told them
to find what they wanted. This was SO GREAT because
I didn't have to figure out what they wanted and
didn't have to wrap it either! This was the most
enjoyable time, seeing them pick out what they wanted!

We then had to head to GameStop because Zach our
oldest grandson, couldn't find anything at Walmart.
He's 14 and had his eye on a videogame. So, off to
GameStop we headed.

After he picked out his game, we headed to Culvers for
some good food and one of my favorite ice cream places.
If you've never had Culver's ice cream, you don't know what
you are missing!

Finally, it was getting late and we headed back home and
spent the next couple hours just talking, playing games and
re-enacting the old man's hat scene!

This was the most memorable and my favorite Christmas
of all because I took time to listen to my kids and grandkids.
I savored each moment with them. I asked them questions
about what colors they liked and what was their favorite food.
I was amazed at how much they enjoyed that!

We spent the next few days making cookies, playing games,
videotaping funny commercials. I spent some time sewing
a stuffed doll and cat for Sarah. We didn't have a pattern
so we winged it! We used Teko their little dog for our guide!
That was a blast. We laughed so hard when the tail ended up
longer than the body and the head looked like an owl. We ended
up doing a couple surgeries, like Sarah said.

Forever these memories will be in my heart and mind.
I have etched them there for all eternity! It didn't happen by
accident, it happened on purpose. I purposed to "be in moment" with
them. When my mind would wonder to what I should or could
be doing the next day, hour or minute, I brought it back to that
moment. For that is truly all we really ever have... is this moment.

Are you savoring every moment? Are you making memories
that will last for an eternity?

If not, considering trying it. It pays big dividends!

The New Wave of Home-based Business!

If you haven't noticed, things are changing! Rapidly! In 1903 only 14% of homes had bathtubs. Now, we all have computers, some homes several. If you have a home-based business, like me, you probably have several!

What does this mean to you and me? We can now CHOOSE to make money at home. I recently heard that people who work at home make more money (on average) than people who work at a JOB where they are confined to that environment. My daughter recently moved from working at corporate to working for herself at home. She contracts with the company she worked for, so she still does the same work, but makes about twice as much!

We have more choices now than ever! There is no more security in CORPORATE life anymore. Things change like the weather. I just heard Intel is cutting jobs. Who would think, INTEL, most of us are using INTEL processors to READ this blog... That just goes to show us, everything we THOUGHT was secure, isn't. Now, this can either be a scary thing, or an exciting thing. The determining factor is YOU! You can choose to make the decision to RIDE THE WAVE and make money with it, or live in FEAR! I choose to ride the wave and get the most out of LIFE!

What can we do to prosper from this all? First, find yourself a "WHY". WHY DO YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY? Do you have a desire to FIRE YOUR BOSS? Do you HATE THE traffic you have to drive in everyday? Do you need money for retirement? Do you have a passion to reach the world for Christ? (I do!) Want to make enough to send your kids to college? Or maybe buy a second home or go on a month vacation?

Find out what your "WHY" is and write it down. If you don't write it down you can't RUN WITH IT! I can tell you from experience. This week, my husband who is a pastor, who has always felt he had a vision and has written it down many years ago, recently went through a training and in it they had to write down their vision. He had a really hard time to articulate it. But, after many hours he got it written down and the next day he was a new man. I asked him what was different? He said, "There's something about writing it down that EMPOWERS you to do it!" The Bible says we are to "WRITE THE VISION, so that they that READ IT MAY RUN WITH IT!" So, PLEASE STOP READING AND TAKE SOME TIME TO WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE NEXT 10 years, 5 years, 1 year and 90 days. This will EMPOWER YOU TO ACT!

After you have written down your vision and gotten your "WHY", than the key is to get the INFORMATION you need to SUCCEED! There is a TON OF IT AVAILABLE NOW through the Internet! Your job is to NARROW YOUR SEARCH for information by what your VISION says! If you are wanting to BUILD a successful ESCAPE BUSINESS, (Which is what I'm doing), than you need to go to the home page of www.escapeinternational.com and click on the GETTING STARTED ICON on the HOME page. And, listen to all the media files (starting with Travis Baggit and working your way down). There are a lot of them. But, how many of you when you started a new job had to listen to videos, etc? All most all of us, right? Or if you wanted to go to school to be a doctor and earn BIG MONEY, you had to LISTEN to the teacher, read, etc. You may say, "I'm not in school any longer so I don't have to do that." Well, you're right, no one has to do that, and you don't have to make the BIG MONEY either. Today, the person with the INFO has the DOUGH! Stupidity has not earned anyone, anything!

I want to see you succeed, so I'm going to tell you the truth. There is NO FREE LUNCH in this world. If you want what others have, then you must do what it takes to have it. Watching TV every night and wishing won't get it. You have to get your "WHY", write it down and then get the INFORMATION and learn the SKILLS you need to get what you want.

Do You Have A Passion?

Greetings!

Today I want to talk to you about something that is vital to your success!

PASSION, it is the MOTIVATOR of our lives. Without it we become COUCH POTATOES!
Even with passion our thoughts and bodies, our FLESHY desires will still try and kill that passion. We have to tell our bodies and thoughts what to do and think! We are to be in control of our thoughts and actions!

Take time EVERYDAY to SEE yourself doing what you have a PASSION for. Maybe you want to help homeless children, or you want to start a drug re-hab center, or maybe you enjoy creating music, media, etc. and you want to do that with your time. Whatever it is...nurture it and let it grow!

What is standing in your way from accomplishing Your PASSION? Lack of FINANCES? Lack of TIME? Is your JOB standing in the way? The answer is not to QUIT your job, at least not yet! The answer is to TAKE ACTION DOING SOMETHING EVERYDAY THAT WILL HELP YOU TO REACH YOUR GOAL, so you can quit your job. If you quit your job before you get to the point of financially being able, you may be too depressed to do anything. There is a small majority that would be motivated by not having a job--those people will make it or die, because they can motivate themselves!

Inch by inch anything is a cinch, yard by yard it's hard. It's like the turtle and the hare. The turtle won not because he was slow, but because he never quit, he never stopped to fool around.

If you want to get financially FREE, than you have to make a CHOICE DAILY to DO WHAT IT TAKES! And, not let the negative thoughts and your body from stopping you.

Then, when you get up the next day, say "Lord, help me to accomplish this (name it) today so that I'm effective and profitable." If you don't believe in the Lord, than just talk to yourself...whatever you do, do something!

MORE KEYS TO SUCCESS...

Greetings EVERYONE!

Welcome to Escape International! I'm excited to have you as part of my TEAM! I'm here to help you and to see that you succeed. Just like in all kinds of business—there are certain principles and steps to take for success. Here are some things to do to have success in this business.

#1) ESCAPE YOURSELF - This means to start using your products—it's hard to ask people to do something that you are not willing to do yourself. Besides, you can get a residual income from what you USE and if you are actively building a business—there are tax benefits too!

#2) Get to AREA Director AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - I didn't know this when I started, because we were all so new....but not knowing this has cost me MONEY!

It is a GREAT PRODUCT and it has saved me hundreds of dollars on my food bill and helped me lose weight and feel better. Now, I only eat once a day and take OPTIMAL the rest of the time and it gives me more energy! When you reach AREA REP POSITION you also get paid thru INFINITY on anyone NEW YOU SPONSOR AFTER REACHING THIS POSITION! That is HUGE!

3. Within the FIRST 24 hours - CALL 10 people you know and tell them you are excited about a new business you started and about this cool new videophone...tell them you don't know much but want them to talk to Linda Cross, a National Director in the company. Then call me with their phone # and I will call them. Also, tell them about any meetings in their area and invite them to attend. If you don't have a meeting in your area - call me and we can get one started via the VIDEOPHONE as soon as you get one. THIS IS KEY TO GETTING STARTED — TO GAINING MOMENTUM!

5. MAKE A LIST OF 52 people - and call them and do the same as above. It they aren't interested....say this "I respect your opinion and know this isn't for everyone, but please do me a favor...when your cell phone contract expires, please give me a call and I will get you a better deal, and if you are going to get DISH NETWORK, please call me first, I will give you a better deal on that too. And lastly, do you KNOW ANYONE WHO COULD USE SOME EXTRA INCOME? Please give me their name and number. " That's it!!!

6. GET TO THE MEETINGS! It doesn't matter how much you think you know—it's important to attend the meetings for the following reasons:

You need to learn more so you can share with others the right information - it takes many, many meetings to comprehend all the information. I'm still learning stuff after a year!!

YOUR GROUP WILL GROW and you will MAKE MONEY! When you invite someone to the meeting they will see the value of joining, doing the OPTIONAL upgrade and getting 6 customer points. When this happens your group grows and you start MAKING MONEY!

LEADERS LEAD BY EXAMPLE - if you want people to attend - you must attend!
You need to be encouraged! Being around positive people GIVES YOU THE ENCOURAGEMENT to KEEP GOING when you come up against a negative person—AND YOU WILL! You can be excited one minute and than talk to some friend or loved one and they try and drag you down!!! This HAPPENS TO ALL OF US!!

Remember this - I heard it from a tape by Dani Johnson...."Objections are just questions to test your belief in what you are doing." If you don't really believe in what you are doing...at the first objections or question...you will give up - quit. You have just let that person STEAL FROM YOU YOUR DREAMS AND THE MONEY YOU COULD OF MADE!! Are they going to provide for you? If you refuse their negative comments and do this business.. it could be possible that in 5 years, if you would have stayed the course and worked this business...you could be making $5,000 or more per month! Wouldn't you be sad to think you GAVE IT ALL AWAY FOR ONE or MORE NEGATIVE COMMENTS!! You and I NEED ENCOURAGEMENT and these meetings provide that!

WE NEED LEADERS - As you learn more - you will be growing and putting yourself in a position to be the next leader for your area - if you so desire! People who don't ATTEND MEETINGS - Aren't going to be asked to LEAD.

YOU WILL LEARN from the leaders what they are doing to be successful. As you learn and apply these things...you will grow and become a more successful person—that person who once was afraid, becomes more confident or the if you're already confident, becomes a leader in our company!

7. READ and LISTEN TO POSITIVE BOOKS AND TAPES! I recommend "THINK AND GROW RICH". "THE POWER OF FOCUS" "THE MAGIC OF THINKING BIG" Also, go to: http://www.danijohnson.com/ She has some good CDS to listen too! Take at least 30 minutes per day to read and mediate on GOOD THINGS! SEE YOURSELF PROSPERING. If you DON'T you WON'T ever HAVE IT PROSPERITY UNTIL YOU CAN SEE IT INSIDE!! A wise man said "AS a MAN THINKETH IN HIS HEART - SO IS HE!"

8. LISTEN TO THE COMPANY CALLS ON MONDAY.

10. Attend the Regional and THE NATIONAL trainings. Go to: www.escapeinternational.com and view "EVENTS" to see what is happening around the world! When you attend the NATIONAL you will come away with BELIEF in what you are doing and this can be translated into THOUSANDS of DOLLARS!

Prospecting

Greetings You All!

I want to share with you today about prospecting because it is the life blood of your business. My job with Escape International is not to sell phones or Optimal or any product. My job is to be a TALENT SCOUT. What does that mean? It means I'm looking for the best people I can find that want to build a business for themselves and become financially FREE! Believe it or not, not everyone wants to be financially free. Most people will SAY they want to be financially FREE, but they aren't willing to put forth the effort to do it. It only takes 3 SHARP people with a vision and desire to build this business in each of your legs to make you wealthy beyond imagination. So, that's your challenge --finding those 3 people. They are out there! If it takes you a few months or a few years...wouldn't it be worth it?

The key is to introduce this business to as many people as possible and let them decide if it's for them. I have found 3 go getters (and more) since June of 2005! Larry K. from California found out about this business from a flyer my daughter-in-law handed out in a swapmart in Phoenix, AZ. He orginally threw it away and 3 days later (after not being able to sleep), called me. The rest is history! He is a National Director today, soon to be an International Director!

These are ways to build your business. Introduce this to everyone you know!
1) Friends and Family (Mine live out of state, so I went to my COLD market)
2) People you have already sponsored. Sit down with them (I mean sit down - don't say - oh, by the way can you give me some names - don't let them leave until you get some names! Or, you may never get any. We are all too busy - so get them while they are there with you. Go through the phone book and ask, "Who do you know by the name -that starts with A? Then write them down and get their phone number.
3) Everyday when your out and about - talk to the people who wait on you. Leave them a card or flyer (available through me) and invite them to a meeting or go to their house to show them the phone.
4) Networking groups. I have joined a networking group and have been attending others. They allow you to share what you do and the products or services you have. Also, Real Estate groups, Investment groups, Eagles Clubs--all these are great to meet people. Ask your business friends if they belong to a group and if you can attend it with them. They will usually be excited to have you come!
5) People who come to your house (for whatever reasons) SHOW THEM THE PHONE! Invite them to a meeting or a 3-way call!
6) Old prospects - things may have changed since you talked with them - I have had people join several months after I first talked with them. Re-call your prospect list every month or so.
7) People in other MLM's.

These are just some ideas that I use to meet people and expose them to the business. It is working for me--so hope you will use these ideas too.

SUCCESS - KEYS

Greetings to You All!

I feel blessed to share with the Women of Escape tonight on the Women's Forum.

What I want to share with everyone is some KEYS TO SUCCESS that have helped me - I will be using the Acrostic – the WORD SUCCESS to help you to remember these keys.

S = SEEING - You must FIRST SEE YOURSELF successful before you will BE SUCCESSFUL! If you want to be a MILLIONAIRE - than SEE YOURSELF as MILLIONAIRE! Believe you are WORTHY TO BE a MILLIONAIRE!

We never ACT in a MANNER that is INCONSISTENT to how we SEE OURSELVES. In Proverbs 23:7 it says, "As he (you and I) think in our heart, so are we!" How do you think or see yourself? What are your dominating thoughts about yourself? "I'm stupid, dumb?" Or I'm smart and wise? What do you say to yourself about money? Do you think you’re not able to manage money... are you afraid of having money? If so, you won't have it...you will self-destroy any thing you may do to get it.

Someone said, "What you think you're worth you wear on your forehead and that's the value the world will hand you."

They also said, “You're SELF-WORTH determines your NET-WORTH!”

It takes RICH THOUGHT and RICH WORDS that lead to RICH ACTION!

U = UNDERSTANDING = Understanding comes from knowledge and truth.
It is The TRUTH we know and applies that set us FREE! We must be willing to get the knowledge we need to grow and apply it to our lives. We need to get understanding about ourselves and the areas we are having struggles in and face them. It's the ROOT beliefs that AFFECT the FRUIT in our lives. The FRUIT comes from the ROOT. Change the ROOT and the FRUIT will change too! Change the basic thoughts and beliefs you have about yourself and your life will change!

C = CHANGE = We must have a willingness to CHANGE. Everything ALIVE changes...grows. Everything DEAD stays the same! I read in a book sometime ago that "You can't change your behavior using the left brain. You have to use the RIGHT BRAIN. The left brain is where you think logically. The RIGHT BRAIN is where you create. This is where you can use prayer and mediation to see yourself as you want to be! I'm a pastor...so I pray every morning and read my Bible. I see myself as God sees me... "More than a conqueror!" As victorious! As a WOMAN OF VALUE! He gave his Son, so I can have life...that makes me valuable! If the wisest man in the Bible said "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." So, what are you thinking in your heart about yourself? In the book "Success if no Accident", the author tells us that visualization instills experiences in the nervous system. Your mind can't tell the difference between real and imagination. Picture what you want and make it as real as possible...and you'll have it!

TAKE ACTION! INTENTION without action is a DELUSION!

Your ROOT Beliefs directs Action which directs RESULTS!

C= CHOICE Daily choices = FUTURE RESULTS! Positive or Negative! Solomon said, "It's the LITTLE FOXES that spoil the vine!" It's also the little things you do each day...the daily choices you make that will make you a success.

DO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WON'T AND YOU'LL HAVE WHAT THEY DON'T!

E= EXPECT If you don't expect anything...you won't get anything! Expecting is the principle of FAITH. (or it can be used in the negative too!) If you expect good things to happen to you, they will. If you expect the bad, they will too! Faith WORKS!! FEAR WORKS in the NEGATIVE! It's like a MAGNET!! I EXPECT TO GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL BY the NATIONAL EVENT.. What are you expecting? Goals must be SPECIFIC! Your mind only gets the message when you TELL IT EXACTLY what you WANT! NOTE: Always end your sentence with the positive...that's what it remembers. E.G. "I am slim." Not, "I don't want to be FAT!"

S= Self-discipline Give up the LESSOR for the BETTER! Make yourself do something today that makes you uncomfortable. Make yourself call at least ONE PERSON TODAY! Then tomorrow - two, etc. William James, a professor from Harvard said, "Now we know that if we ACT, the FEELING follows! I believe this is the most important discovery of the century for human development!"

S= Smile - And you'll release BETA ENDORPHINES which transmit a positive message to your brain! Life is an ECHO, CHECK WHAT you’re GIVING OUT! A pitchfork gives out vibrations that can be picked up across a stadium. What VIBRATIONS are you giving out to people? What thoughts are you thinking about them while they are talking to you? Do you bless them or curse them with your thoughts? They may not hear them...but they sense them! People are attracted to people who think good thoughts about them! At a seminar I attended the speaker taught about our thoughts toward other people and gave an example. He sent a person out of the room so he couldn't hear him and he told everyone to think negative thoughts about the guy when he came out. When he did, the speaker had him hold out his arm and then the speaker tried pushing his arm to the floor. This was a strong guy and he couldn't hold up his arm as it was being pushed down. Then he sent him back out and told everyone to think positive thoughts about this guy...and he had him come back in. He again had him hold out his arm and tried to push it to the floor.. This time the guy held it out and the speaker couldn't get it to go down without a lot of force. It was really an eye-opening experience. What thoughts (blessings or cursing) are you giving out to other people?

In conclusion, I would ask "Who holds the KEY to Your SUCCESS? If you believe others, than you will live to please them and to fulfill their expectations. But, if it's you, than you have the power to make it happen.

SEE yourself successful, Understand what it will take, change the way you think, and do things, Make the right Choices, Expect good things to come your way and make SELF-DISCIPLINE a good word and incorporate it into your life and SMILE and bless others...they will want to be around you!

How Important is Your Thought Life?

Hi Everyone!

I didn't realize how much it takes to write a blog everyday...so please forgive me if I'm not keeping up with this as I would like to - daily.

I find that it helps me to stay motivated by reading good books. I'm reading the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. He has a lot of great stories in there of people who have been successful and how they did it. As you can tell by the title, how we think is SO IMPORTANT! If we think we can't - we can't, but if we think we can, we CAN! As a pastor for 20 years, I can say that there is nothing new under the sun. In 3 John verse 2 it says "Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, EVEN AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS." Our soul is our mind, will and emotions. If your mind (thoughts) are prosperous...so will the rest of your life will be.

Ok, enough of the pep talk...let's get down to business.

This is my first post

Hi Everyone!

This is my first post of what will hopefully be many. I'm using this space to train all my people in my organization (569 at this writing). If others would like to learn how I built my FREE MLM business - they are welcome to read on. I will be sharing the ways in which I am building a HUGE organization.
